Refund Policy
Short version: trials never auto-charge — a payment only ever happens because you actively chose to make one, either by converting a trial or by buying outright. Once a payment does go through, it's final — no refunds. This doesn't affect any statutory rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.
The trial is the evaluation period
Every new customer's first license starts with a 14-day free trial. A valid payment card is required at signup, but nothing is ever charged automatically — not even when the trial ends. If you don't purchase before day 14, your trial license simply expires. This is deliberate: it's the time to actually plug in your hardware and confirm ProxyWorkz does what you need, with zero risk of an unexpected charge.
Buying without a trial
If you've already used your free trial — because it lapsed and you've since decided you want in, or because you're buying a license for a second or third machine — checkout offers a "Buy Now" option that skips the trial and charges immediately. Because you've already had (or currently have) a full evaluation window on another license, this is a straightforward purchase, not a blind one. At checkout you'll be asked to explicitly confirm you understand payment is immediate and, per this policy, non-refundable once processed. If you'd rather evaluate first, use the trial link instead — nobody is required to buy without one.
No refunds after a charge
Once a payment does go through — a trial-to-paid conversion, a Buy Now purchase, or a later annual renewal — it's final. We don't offer refunds after the fact. If you used the trial and decided ProxyWorkz isn't for you, you simply don't pay — there's nothing to cancel and nothing to refund.
What happens when the trial ends
If you haven't purchased by day 14, your trial license expires on its own — no charge, no cancellation needed, nothing for support to do. If you decide you want to keep using ProxyWorkz, you complete a real purchase whenever you're ready, before or after the trial ends.
If a renewal payment fails
This only applies to an active, paid license. If a later annual renewal charge fails, that license is suspended automatically. This isn't a billing dispute or a refund situation; it just means the card on file didn't go through. Update your payment details and get in touch to have it reinstated.
One license, one machine
Each license covers exactly one machine. A second machine needs its own separate license and its own separate $30/yr charge — it's not a discount or bundle, and the refund policy above applies to each license individually.
Your statutory rights
Nothing on this page limits any cancellation or refund right you're entitled to by law and can't contractually waive — for example, UK/EU distance-selling cooling-off rights for consumers. What this policy describes is our standard commercial terms; where a mandatory legal right gives you more, that right applies regardless of what's written here.
